Previously, we had Virtuozzo virtual servers on the Impreza platform. Thinking of you we are bringing new products to the portfolio in 2017. VPS KVM is now available! We look forward to announcing the Kernel-based Virtual Machine VPS with a new addition to our platform. If you are looking for Virtuozzo servers, they still exist. What is KVM?
Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) is a virtualized infrastructure for Linux Kernel that transforms it into a Hypervisor. It was merged into the Linux Kernel main line in version 2.6.20 that was released on February 5, 2007.
Why KVM?
Enhanced cPanel – You get the most powerful ‘enhanced cPanel interface’ that comes with every VPS configuration. The hypervisor mentioned above is basically a program that allows multiple operating systems to share a single hardware host. With KVM, we offer a VPS that is powerful and easy to use, with the building of our servers with state-of-the-art components.
Cloud Technology – Our KVM VPS is built on cloud technology tested to deliver greater power, flexibility and control. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure backed by robust and scalable architecture.
Root Access – If you’re an advanced user, our enhanced cPanel control panel gives you full CentOS access, giving you full control of your server.
Instant Provisioning – You’ll get your server up and running in seconds! Since most VPS solutions take hours or days to activate, our VPS servers are designed to run immediately. This way, the server will always be ready when you need it.
Managed and Support Service – We offer world-class support for container initialization, network, hardware, VPS deployment issues. We also offer support for VPS installation and reinstallation, OS Core updates and patches, reverse DNS installation, initial installation, and basic firewall configuration.
What is the difference between KVM and Virtuozzo?
A KVM is a true virtualization where VPS operates as its own server, regardless of host. Virtuozzo is a container-based virtualization that depends on the kernel on the host node. With KVM, you can set maximum and minimum values for your resources, providing you with only the features your applications need. Although Virtuozzo is more accessible, the KVM comes with privatized virtual hardware, including network card, graphics adapter, disk and features guaranteed for reliability and to be customizable.
KVM’s infrastructure and rapid activation make it extremely reliable. Know our plans: https://impreza.host/en/services/vps-servers-kvm/
