What is KVM?
Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) is a virtualized infrastructure for Linux Kernel that transforms it into a Hypervisor. It was merged into the Linux Kernel main line in version 2.6.20 that was released on February 5, 2007.

What is the difference between KVM and Virtuozzo?
A KVM is a true virtualization where VPS operates as its own server, regardless of host. Virtuozzo is a container-based virtualization that depends on the kernel on the host node. With KVM, you can set maximum and minimum values for your resources, providing you with only the features your applications need. Although Virtuozzo is more accessible, the KVM comes with privatized virtual hardware, including network card, graphics adapter, disk and features guaranteed for reliability and to be customizable.
