What is KVM?

Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) is a virtualization infrastructure for the Linux kernel that turns it into a hypervisor. It was merged into the mainline Linux kernel in version 2.6.20, released on February 5, 2007.

Why KVM?

Full virtualization. The hypervisor lets multiple operating systems share a single hardware host, while each KVM VPS runs its own kernel with its own virtual network card, disk and allocated resources.

Root Access. You get full root access on current Linux images (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and CentOS Stream), with no control panel required.

Your choice of management. At checkout, choose agent mode to deploy apps in Docker through the portal, MCP, the impreza CLI or the REST API, or panel mode to have aaPanel, CyberPanel or CloudPanel installed automatically.

Automatic Provisioning. New VPS orders are provisioned automatically after payment, and you can reinstall the operating system yourself from the client area.

Support. Our team helps with network, hardware and provisioning issues on your VPS.

What is the difference between KVM and Virtuozzo?

A KVM VPS is full virtualization: it operates as its own server, regardless of the host. Virtuozzo is container-based virtualization that depends on the kernel of the host node. With KVM, your VPS has its own virtual hardware, including network card, graphics adapter and disk, and its own kernel, so you can run the operating system and kernel modules your applications need.
