In a post yesterday .Me said they will be releasing approximately 2,800 premium domains on March 4.
This might be a little too late as .me is just another extension in a sea of hundreds. Holding on to premiums this long probably not going to yield the returns the registry anticipated.
Roughly 2,800 premium domains will be made directly available for registration to every business and individual around the globe through your favorite .ME registrar on a first come, first served basis.
