Last November I took a look at the highest priced domain names on BrandBucket.
Lend.com was the highest at $2.5 million and Nude.com at $1.5 million. Neither name is now listed for sale at BrandBucket.
Mask.com is now listed on BrandBucket and has the highest asking price at $2 million.
The domain name registered in 1995 was owned by The Mask Group out of San Mateo, California. It went under privacy. The domain name moved to Fabulous from Network Solutions last year and parked at Uniregistry for a short period of time.
Genetic.com is the second highest priced name at $1,020,000. This name is another new addition.
These names would not be subject to 30% commission.
These would all be 15% commission unless they got a better deal.
- 30% for names below $10,000 USD
- 25% for names between $10,000 USD and $50,000 USD
- 20% for names between $50,000 USD and $100,000 USD
- 15% for names above $100,000 USD
Interestingly Olive.com was on the list back in November, it still points there with the note: OLIVE.COM IS NO LONGER FOR SALE ON BRANDBUCKET.
Maybe that means it sold, it was listed for $780,000, something Snoopy thought was a mistake to price a name like Olive.com and place the seller in a weaker selling position.
Some question pricing names like this at a brandable boutique, others note BrandBucket has deep pocketed buyers, advisors and VC’s who monitor inventory. Shane Cultra and Travis did just score a large sale with Niq.com which was listed at BrandBucket.
