An addict game that we all love and always will remember, we from Impreza Team wants to celebrate with you this special day. And as always if you want, let’s learn a little about Tetris!
World Tetris Day is celebrated on June 6th. One of the greatest early video games is turning 39 years old in 2023! It was created in 1984 by American Russian video game designer and computer engineer Alexey Pajitnov. Tetris was published on different platforms, including Nintendo, until 1996, when Pajitnov began to get royalties from his invention. The puzzle video game consists of completing lines by moving pieces of different colors and shapes, which descend onto the playing field. When lines are completed, they disappear and grant players points. Ultimately, the game ends when the playing field is filled, but the longer the player can delay this, the higher their score.

Tetris is a puzzle video game created by the Soviet software engineer Alexey Pajitnov in 1985. It has been published by several companies for multiple platforms, most prominently during a dispute over the appropriation of the rights in the late 1980s. After a significant period of publication by Nintendo, the rights reverted to Pajitnov in 1996, who co-founded the Tetris Company with Henk Rogers to manage licensing.
