International Cat Day 2023

We from Impreza are celebrating this cutie day! We’re almost all cat lovers here, there is a few one’s who likes Dogs the most. BUT WE ARE MEOWLEBRATING THIS CAT DAY!

Why is there a “Cat Day”?

International Cat Day is a celebration which takes place on 8 August of every year. It was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. It is a day to raise awareness for cats and learn about ways to help and protect them.

In 2020 custodianship of International Cat Day passed to International Cat Care, a not-for-profit British organization that has been striving to improve the health and welfare of domestic cats worldwide since 1958.

As custodians of this important day, we’re encouraging cat owners to take five minutes a day to play with their cats to improve their physical health and mental wellbeing.

Just like dogs need walking every day, cats need daily play to keep them active and happy. Wand toy play provides cats with a safe outlet to perform natural behaviours and has many benefits. – International Cat Care
