Post the best .com you have for sale for $1,000 or less

$1,000 or less .COM ONLY

READ EVERYTHING FIRST so you are not surprised if your comment is not published or removed. I know it says read and I take it that everyone can read. Last week’s post challenges that notion. The goal of this post is to sell domain names not to be an exercise in blog moderation.

This is not hyperbole, this is not bullshit, we are in a pandemic, stay at home order, so I am only here. Last week from the time the post was published til 5 A.M Eastern time, I sat here tv to the right and computer to the left. Akismet has been holding up more comments lately and it’s a paid plan, I actually told them I am seeing more spam than should be and legit posts getting held up.

Of course with a lot of links some posts get held, they were being approved within a minute to three minutes, yet some people are reposting their list with the note comment is being held for moderation. Don’t do that!!! ok?

Only going to get you blocked. If your first comment was not approved your second one won’t, it’s like how I say don’t email me or text me, because if I did not see the comment here, I did not see the email or text. Simple as that.

On top of the impatient posters, there were people posting names that they obviously did not own, some developed, some were offering 3L.coms for $500, I will keep it real, I would be posting sold right after I approved if it was legit, I am kidding of course because a 3L.com for $500 is a joke.

There are some readers who get it, they sell names every week, not once a month, every week, they are not posting names they think are garbage and hoping to get $500 or $1,000. Because the max is $1,000 is not a reason to list this morning’s handreg for $1,000 maybe $250 works?

They are posting names that any reasonable person would know hold some value. To that note, those people are emailing asking for others to be banned, people who keep forgetting something or post more than 5 names or if a comment slips by with a non com.

I am not going to delete anyone for making an honest mistake, when I see you post more than 5, I simply edit the comment to 5, if there are non coms on a post that is .com only I delete them. Do not email asking where did my post go, it’s in the headline, sell your .COMS. When other extensions are allowed it will say sell your NAMES.

This post should be used to sell a name where you are making some money with no commission, and leave a little for the next buyer.

This post has become a weekly post due to people emailing asking if I could make this weekly as it’s free and others apparently want to charge a subscription to include a domain or two for sale.

It’s free, you have to honor your sales or you will be blocked from the site.

If you sell a name please post it sold, sometimes posters sell through email rather than someone posting sold here. That way people know the name no longer for sale.

Name, asking price, registrar, if it’s an exotic cctld or new gtld leave the renewal price, you do not have to do this for com/net/org.

Potential buyers are allowed to make an offer below your price unless you say FIRM. This is an attempt to drive more sales.

Don’t worry if someone posts something ridiculous like $1 or $10 on a $500 name it will be deleted.

Names will get some added exposure on Twitter, which is where about one third of sales have generated from previous posts.

The post should consist of only three elements:

  • Name/Price/Firm if you will not accept offers
  • Registrar/Expiration date/Premium renewal must be listed if a cctld or new gtld.
  • How to contact

So not to waste anyone’s precious time, any post that strays from this will be deleted. Examples:

  • More than 5 names listed
  • Another extension other than .com
  • A paragraph to describe the reasons why someone should buy.
  • Critiquing another poster’s domain name.
  • Listing price over $1,000

If you make a sale leaving a comment is appreciated.

Disclosure: TheDomains.com has no involvement in any sale and does not make any recommendations on any name listed in this post. Do your own research on things such as value and intellectual property.
