But among the players that will stand out, one will certainly be Microsoft, which yesterday announced that it had exceeded $ 10 billion in revenue from its cybersecurity business during 2020, with 40% growth over the year 2019.
Microsoft’s numbers were announced yesterday by the company’s corporate VP for security, compliance and identity, executive Vasu Jakkal. According to her, the results of the security, compliance, identity and management businesses represent “a testament to the trust that our customers have placed in us”.
Now, said the executive, “what motivates us is the creation of a true zero trust mentality, which we believe to be the cornerstone of effective protection, the basis for organizational resilience and the future of security”.

In the global market, according to the Canalys report, the 2021 billing will come mainly from protection of endpoints, networks, e-mails and data, as well as risk analysis and access management.
